By using nlo.lol (the “Service”) you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. The Service

nlo.lol is a free tool for creating QR codes in your browser. We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of it at any time.

2. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service or the codes you create to:

• break the law or infringe the rights of others;
• distribute malware, phishing, scams or other deceptive or harmful content;
• link to sexual content involving minors, or content that promotes violence or hatred;
• overload, probe or interfere with the Service, including through excessive automated requests.

3. Your content

You keep all rights to the content you enter and the logos you upload. You confirm that you have the right to use them. Your content is processed in your browser and is not uploaded to us (see the Privacy Policy).

4. Generated codes

You may use the QR codes you generate for personal or commercial purposes, with no attribution and no fee. We do not guarantee that a code will scan on every device. Always test your code, especially before printing, and keep enough contrast and quiet zone. “QR Code” is a registered trademark of Denso Wave Incorporated.

5. Intellectual property

The design, text and code of the Service belong to nlo.lol, except for third-party open-source components, which are used under their own licenses (for example, qr-code-styling under the MIT license).

6. No warranty

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, availability or that it will be error-free.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, nlo.lol is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your use of the Service or from codes you create, such as codes that fail to scan or that lead to content you did not intend.

8. Third-party links and services

Codes you create may point to third-party websites or services. We do not control them and are not responsible for them.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the country in which the operator of nlo.lol is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, unless mandatory consumer law in your country says otherwise.
